Summer Houndwalking

Beginning July 21, join us Tuesdays and Saturdays at 8:30 AM for a relaxed and informal ride around the Radnor Hunt countryside — on horseback and accompanied by the hounds.

 

Summer Houndwalking is the perfect opportunity to:

 

• Introduce your horse to hounds in a calm, controlled environment

• Build confidence riding in a group alongside the pack

• Help socialize and exercise young hounds as they begin their training

• Start fitness conditioning for both horses and riders ahead of the season

 

Whether you are preparing for cubbing season, bringing along a young or inexperienced horse, or simply looking to enjoy a beautiful morning ride with fellow members and friends, we would love to have you join us.

 

Summer Houndwalking is also an ideal introduction for anyone interested in learning more about foxhunting before Foxhunting 101 in September and the start of the fall season. No pressure, no jumping — just horses, hounds, and good company.
